Gun Case Dismissed Against 75 year-old Ailing Man 

The client was caught up in an unfortunate dispute his wife and step-son had with a neighbor.  The neighbor brought her husband and to the elderly client’s home and the younger neighbor claimed the client threatened him with a gun.  Qiana filed a motion to dismiss the case challenging the search.  The court acknowledged the legal concerns but declined to dismiss the case.  Qiana then worked tirelessly to get the case dismissed another way including presenting an expert report and medical records to persuade the prosecution to let go of the case.  Ultimately, she prevailed and allowed the client to convalesce with his family having the peace of mind of knowing the case was behind them.  Click here to read about other exciting victories.
