Washington & Associates, a dynamic and growing Contra Costa criminal defense and civil rights firm, seeks an in-house marketing specialist.  A successful candidate will work closely with the Firm’s upper management to create and implement a concrete marketing plan and strategy to increase visibility and growth as well as meet annual revenue goals.  Specialist is responsible for researching and creating simple marketing content and implementing and overseeing CRM strategies, content marketing, web development, and strategic network marketing, including developing and maintaining relationships with the media and other industry stakeholders.  Must be able to think analytically to gather and synthesize data and provide regular reports.    Applicants must demonstrate a drive to succeed and see the Firm succeed, show persistence and perseverance, have strong communication skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, a thirst for learning and improving, and be consistently reliable.  This position provides an opportunity to receive training to work toward growth and internal promotion.  Must consent to a background check and have a valid California Driver’s license.  Candidates must have, at minimum, a marketing and/or a communications bachelor’s degree and an understanding of the legal industry as demonstrated through their work/internship experience.  Knowledge of the criminal defense legal market is a plus.
